About Us

The Apartment is a film and television company within the Fremantle Group, focused on high-quality projects created by leading filmmakers and emerging talents on the Italian and international scene.

It has produced numerous feature films, all selected at major international festivals, among them The Hand of God by Paolo Sorrentino, Bones and All by Luca Guadagnino, Priscilla by Sofia Coppola, Parthenope by Paolo Sorrentino, Maria by Pablo Larraín, and Queer by Luca Guadagnino. Most recently The Apartment has produced: Fuori by Mario Martone (Cannes Film Festival 2025), The Kidnapping of Arabella by Carolina Cavalli (Venice Film Festival 2025, Best Actress Award for Benedetta Porcaroli), La Grazia by Paolo Sorrentino (Venice Film Festival 2025, Coppa Volpi for Toni Servillo) and it is among the production partners of Father Mother Sister Brother by Jim Jarmusch (Venice Film Festival 2025, Golden Lion)

The Apartment has produced, among others, the globally acclaimed TV series My Brilliant Friend, The Young Pope and The New Pope by Paolo Sorrentino, We Are Who We Are by Luca Guadagnino, and Exterior Night by Marco Bellocchio. Most recently: M – The Son of the Century by Joe Wright (premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2024), and The Monster by Stefano Sollima (premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2025).
